Monday, November 19, 2012. I just watched a program on the dust storm period of the Oklahoma area. Those people went through such a hard time! We haven't experienced that but it reminded me of the summer that we went through this year. As we entered the third month without any rain I thought it was looking like Wisconsin was turning into Arizona! I don't ever remember experiencing a drought like that. Sunday, November 04, 2012. I must be hungry because I'm sitting here thinking about food - namely a meatloaf recipe I discovered in a cook book my cousin gave me that her church put out. "Melt In You Mouth Meat Loaf" has the perfect name. It's a real attention grabber and quite apt. It's delicious! We now have cable T.V. and I'm still not sure how much I like it. Sunday, November 04, 2012. Leon had an interesting dream last night. He said he dreamed that I had run a 15.2 mile race. Apparently, I collapsed 10 - 20 feet from the finish line but crawled the rest of the way and won. I don't understand but it made me feel.well.sort of "puffed up" with pride when he told me about it. :-} It was a dream. For Pete's sake.and not even mine. And it made me proud! Thursday, July 16, 2015. Not Your Average Day. What would you do if you witnessed someone shop lifting? I had the opportunity to find out, personally, this morning when we went grocery shopping. It got me thinking. While I was mulling that over I saw the kids hastily moving toward the door - until they saw me - and then they turned and hurried back the other way. Did I mention that they each had something in each hand? I remember one had Pringles. (Health food, you understand :- ).

Wednesday, May 08, 2013. Yesterday Leon and I found the remote cemetery where my great, great grandparents John and Ann Lee are buried. John Lee came over here from England. The stones are smothered in weeds and trees and only noticeable if one is looking for them. It was an interesting search. I hadn't seen it since I was 13 years old. What made me want to go "hmmmm" is that all the tombstones we saw showed that we have already outlived the people buried there. (Unless I missed some).
