While we teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is all about. Monday, February 21, 2011. I know, I know. I'm a terrible blogger! I apologize for not being better about updates! Speaking of updates. we have quite a few! First off Jaylee was able to get her central line out which was a big deal! We no longer have to worry about it getting infected or pulled on or broken! Which also means she is no longer on her TPN and she is pretty much off all her medications! We love you all!

While we teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is all about. Sunday, November 14, 2010. Just a quick update, thing are going well! We have been home for two weeks now and it has been great! It is so nice to finally be home and a family again! We are still working on stuff with Jaylee, IE: getting her to eat on her own so we can get her off her TPN, physical therapy to get her moving like crawling and standing. And just getting her used to being home. Well that's about it!

While we teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is all about. Wednesday, October 13, 2010. So we have some good news this time around! The Adenovirus that has been giving us so much grief these last couple of months was NOT DETECTED! This is great news! The Adenovirus has been the key factor in all these problems the last couple of months and it is FINALLY being treated and conquered! Jaylee's belly is a lot smaller and actually looks normal, instead of looking like a Buddha belly!

Monday, August 12, 2013. Trying to keep up. Man, Oh, Man I am trying to keep up with all the activities that are going on right now but it is just impossible. Here is some total random pictures from earlier in the SPRING. Yes that's right the spring. These four-wheelers have been the best investment! A friends birthday party and Nina was more involved with the baby bear. Easter and Emmas baby Blessing. A day on the tramp without getting wet. Hmmm.must have been spring for sure! Monday, September 17, 2012. Here we go again. Nina has started private swim class's and is doing great! This last week she really made a break through. It may not be that impressive but to see them start and the progression each week it is very impressive.). Above is her finally floating on her back by herself. Below is her learning to scoop. But it had been one of those days for us and we just couldn't stop laughing. Oh they were so stupid but we laughed and laughed. Good memories). Amy and Brian Herbert.

Monday, May 20, 2013. Women of Steel Triathlon 2013. This year the Women of Steel Triathlon started out not so fun! It was Cold, Cold, Cold, but by the end it had warmed up, once I got racing I was in "race mode" and I enjoyed it. I was a little bummed because Andrey and Kola were going to come but it was to cold, having those two there would have topped it off. This year we convinced my Aunt Janie to do it, she rocked it! Bike Transition, while out on the bike it was windy and rainy!

Monday, May 20, 2013. Nina is doing Awesome at Swim Lessons. Here she is jumping off the diving board by herself and floating by herself. Kola loves to walk her by the hand to the diving board. He thinks he is a big help to her, it's so cute. Yesterday we planted a new tree in the front yard, both kids had a blast with it. Each took turns shoveling in the new dirt! Friday, December 21, 2012. At the end of November we made Christmas chains at our Wednesday play night and Kola wanted me to post these pictures. He was super excited to start cutting the chain each day, but over time the excitement fizzled away because he kept asking if today was Christmas. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. We had such a blast in Moab a few weeks ago, it was an awesome Trip! The Kids enjoyed it as much as we did, which made it twice as enjoyable for us! The place is truley magnificant! This one above was my favorite! The theme of this trip was Easy! The whole trip just seemed to flow easy without any drama, fuss, problems, ect.and having a mini-van made things even better! These two were in Hog-Heaven. Till next time Moab.
