Jay's Blog: February 2013
http://jaymitchblog.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 24, 2013. Inspired by Scott Campbell. IPhone photo of winter trees I captured this earlier today. Trees all hoar-frosty in the early morning, and the sun poked out and lit them up. Goes to show, however, that it's not the camera that makes the image. Scott's photograph kicks the s* t out of this, yet was taken with "only" an iPhone vs. a pro-level full frame DSLR that clocks in at over $2K. Saturday, February 16, 2013. Shadows in the Snow. Jay's Blog: May 2012
http://jaymitchblog.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Don't always need to be shooting for fine art or photojournalism. Can be fun, too! Friday, May 18, 2012. It's Long Weekend Time here and I decided to extend it an extra day. Passed the time this morning with another self-imposed "photowalk", this time down Corydon Avenue. Funky area, nice morning, and a relaxing way to start the weekend. Made my way home early afternoon and spent the balance editing and making some prints. The entire set can be seen. Now it's Margarita Time.
Jay's Blog: Costa Rica Travelog | These Guys Are a Howl
http://jaymitchblog.blogspot.com/2013/06/costaricahowlermonkey.html
Monday, June 3, 2013. Costa Rica Travelog These Guys Are a Howl. Costa Rica, albeit the tiny portion we saw, is teeming with life. Here we see a dog wandering around. There we have geckos and iguanas and these mini-anteater-looking-things called Coati and funky looking squirrels and crazed racoons and birds birds birds and crabs in our hotel room. But one of the bigger attractions, apparently, is the Howler monkey. They dangled and jumped and played around in the trees blanketing our first hotel. Costa R...
Jay's Blog: April 2012
http://jaymitchblog.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. On the weekend I was inspired to shoot some long exposures destined for black and white. Headed out to a nearby industrial field of gas tanks. What I really want to do is get inside here as I have some specific ideas - will have to get in contact with them. Unfortunately I was relegated to the outside so I made the most of it. Labels: black and white. Saturday, April 21, 2012. First up some industrial space on Waterfront Drive. Right next to this spot are new, modern condos&...

http://jaymitchblog.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Ottawa. Catching some air and looking for inspiration. Unfortunately all I worked was a memorial of war. The tomb of. Need to find something bright and lively tomorrow. Thursday, August 9, 2012. I barely remember how to create a post it's been so long and so erratic. Still have a backlog of lake and travel shots to process, print, and share. Anyone interested in dropping a big bag of money at my feet to allow the time for such things? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
