Please don't ask me why…. About the trip… and Tour du Canada. About the trip… and Tour du Canada. I have signed up with a supported bike ride (see Tour du Canada. At www.tourducanada.com. So I don’t have to carry my gear from site to site, nor plan the route, will have company (misery loooooves company), and a million other reasons to boot. Here is a short break down of what there is to expect:. Start: June 20 in Vancouver. Finish: August 31st in St. John’s. We do hit all 10 provinces. Avg daily: 131 km.

It is a really weird feeling and reality has yet to really hit me (even though I have spent the last three nights in a bed). The oil stains are slowly leaving my hands but the esthetician has no idea the challenge she faces when I go in for a manicure. (Cannot touch eyes with hands like this! St John’s is beautiful. Windy day but since we were following the shore we were weaving along and got to experience everrrrry kind of wind (cross, tail and everyone’s favourite. Rode w Robert (fancy that! And then Mike as well for the last 60 km. (Let them do all the pulling… Lazy lazy girl… But! They are the two strongest cyclists on the trip so I think they can handle it). There are 7 days of cycling still to do! Called it nun’s.

Please don't ask me why…. About the trip… and Tour du Canada. Day 68 – 98 km. 30km/h headwinds with 50km/h gusts. Robert at the top of Mount Smokey. No more flats. That is the second flat free day. I actually have blisters on my fingers from changing my tire so often (I have blisters on my fiiiiiingerrrrrs). Still tons of hills today (we are still on the Cabot Trail).
