Community and Art Making a Difference. More pictures from Thursday’s paint-a-thon. Here are a few more pictures of the kids and artist team painting their trees. Once Debbie instructed everyone on how to handle a brush, watch for drips, and Jayne helped with paint mixing, they were off to the races. Community and Art Making a Difference. The Final Day…Mission Accomplished. August 19, 2007. Click on it to see a larger image. On Friday, 8/17/07, Debbie, Arin, and Jayne came in to tweak and highlight the kids’ work. They used copper and gold metallic paint to bring out features of each tree and animal. Debbie was real handy with the outline brush. She used mainly a deep burgundy to outline, with black being used occasionally. Just below are a few pictures of the final day of painting. Lunes, mayo 16, 2011. Cuando menos lo pienso no lo saboreo. Mientras lo pinto me parece inhumano. Dibujando su olor en medio de mis piernas. Corto de a poco el pastel de lo apresurado. Estoy repartiendo la luna en tres. Del mar negro al gran amanecer. Las pruebas del delito no le creen al rey. Del novio enmascarado que desaparece para parecer. Hoy con luna llena escribo sin pensar. Frente a frente a una luz innata me armo de alas para aparentar. Que me pierdo y me siento a esperar. Que deseo besar y besar.
