Raising funds for multiple Sclerosis. So far we have handed over to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. We asked that half the money raised was used for research into this terrible disease and the rest for specialised nurses. In 2012 the government announced that they will be funding specialised nursing, so for the last cheque we asked for half the money to used locally for Multiple Sclerosis sufferers. Jackie wanted from the outset to help find a cure and also to help local sufferers. Back to the top.
