It was nice to attend church and reflect on the Easter Message of hope and love. What the Saviour has done for me is beyond comprehension. Friday, January 9, 2009. Everyone has to build a snowman-at least once a season. We really had a good time building these two. We have a book titled "What do snowmen do at night? These good looking snowmen did NOT look the same after spending a night outside. Their arms drooped a bit, a few buttons fell off, one was missing an eye. It really makes you wonder- just what do they do? Nick had a Birthday. We love you Dad! Audrey has spent hours dressing, undressing, and accessorizing her Polly Pockets.

Thursday, October 30, 2008. We had a blast trick or treating with the Hawkins and our new little cousin baby Josh. I needed to take more good pictures! Jess dressed as Frankenstein. He actually walked around the whole neighborhood wearing those stilts! Jess is holding Allison, our little monkey. Audrey is a good 'ole witch. Brandon really wanted to be a chimney sweep. It was his idea and it was really cute. The children have been watching Mary Poppins. It is the favorite movie at our house.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. We took an hour bus ride from Hoian to My Son (commonly known as the smaller version of Ang Kor Wat in Cambodia). My Son is the major site in Vietnam from the ancient Champa Kingdom which flourished between the 2nd and 15th centuries. It remained occupied from 4th century through to the 13th century.
