Viewers grew and remained surprisingly loyal for a serialized show in its eighth season. There probably isn't another show on the air that has been as consistently exciting as 24.

Monday, September 10, 2012. It's time for my wave to start the race: females ages 39 and under. Horn blows, I swim, no cramping. What a relief! My calves are able to kick, my body is buoyant on top of the yucky mucky water and most importantly, my mind is sane. Out of the water 43 minutes later and onto the bike. My new Raleigh bike. :) I wasn't as well-prepared for the 56 mile bike ride as I should've been but I am strong nonetheless. 15 minutes in, eat some Clif bar! I'm so glad I did it, so glad I did...

Lest any of our loyal blog followers think we've forgotten about Lily, here are a few fantastic sample pictures from a photo shoot we did with my sister-in-law, Kristen. A few of the smiles were genuine and directed toward Kristen or Wendy, but the majority of the toothy smiles are thanks to a little Lego Indiana Jones character, who inexplicably danced around to Lily's delight.

Saturday, June 22, 2013. We spent Christmas Eve with Jayson's family. We had a yummy dinner and played "Minute to Win It" games. The kids acted out the christmas story and had fun dressing up together. Then Santa left his bag on the porch again. It was fun times with people we love. I love seeing my boys have so much fun with their cousins! Brody made me a cute present at preschool and was so excited to give it to me.I loved it! For Christmas we made his school teacher some treats and he made her a card.
