I have a Scottie.in him, I find consolation and diversion." Dwight D. Eisenhower. The ever popular Scottish terrier, known commonly as the Scottie is definitely the star of the show on this Jazzy Jar creation. The base for this is a vintage 1950s era coffee pot covered with air drying clay. The Scotties are celluloid pins that were made in occupied Japan. Happy Birthday to Matthew. February 23, 1984: yesterday marks the 30th birthday of my middle son Matthew Lawrence. I can't believe that my middle child is already 30 years old! He lives all the way across the country from me in New Jersey so all of my birthday wishes are long distance. Last year he came out to California for a visit but it's not in the cards this year at this time. Here is a photo tribute to him over the years. First photo op at 33 David St, South River, NJ. The Dog Days of Summer. The climate of the desert knows two seasons: hot and hotter. Right now we are in the midst of the unbearable dog days. For the month of July, the temperatures soar to heights between 115 and 120. It doesn't cool down much at night either. It's a lazy and languid time of of year when we are prone to staying indoors. Kathy's daughter Bridget somehow grew from a rosy-cheeked child to a lovely young lady embarking upon her life.
