Before you can be allowed to move on, some skills must be mastered before one move’s on to the next level. Problem is with a group of 30, you spend most of the time with the middle 20, not the top 5, or bottom 5! Ways must be found for some to move ahead when skill is met, and if some need more time, so be it!

I no longer evaluate based on a set of standards, whether they be skills, like a basketball skills test, or the Canada Fitness Test. As a Physical Educator, we must begin to re-evaluate what the final product is, are we to develop athletes, or are we to create life long learners who are knowledgeable about personal wellness?
