Blocking | Diane's lace, knitting and other crafts
https://dianelaces.wordpress.com/2015/07/04/blocking-2
Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. July 4, 2015. At 7:40 am by dianelaces. Took advantage of my alone time at the camper and got this Afternoon Tea shawlette blocked. This is the free pattern from Knitty.com and is just the right size to drop over my shoulders at the office. The designer just re-released the pattern with bigger sizes and I might have to try those also. 3 Comments ». July 4, 2015 at 8:55 am. July 4, 2015 at 8:59 am. This was just on ball of sock yarn, so less than 440 yards. Build a...

Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. June 3, 2015. Me Made May – week 4. At 6:28 am by dianelaces. This was the last week and I nearly made it to the end with something different every day. Had it been winter and I was wearing wool socks every day this would have been a snap. However, I am not complaining about Spring! My other niece, Abby, is a young seamstress and she is very creative as well. She isn’t afraid to try anything. This was a great challenge for me and I’m eager to try it again ne...

Small Things | Diane's lace, knitting and other crafts
https://dianelaces.wordpress.com/2015/04/21/small-things
Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. April 21, 2015. At 11:40 am by dianelaces. In February the Little Bobbins podcast had a little-a-long. Small items, small people, “little” in the name of the pattern, etc. That is why I knit the small stuffed heart in the last post. At the same time I got a hankering to tat my favorite heart pattern, so I actually made two at that time. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. May 26, 2015. Me Made May – Week 3. At 7:52 am by dianelaces. Whew, this is getting harder as the weather got considerably warmer this past weekend! But, during the week we still had some cool days and I wore wool socks nearly every day. Monday, May 18 – Absinthe socks by Sara Morris. My first ever toe-up socks, knit in 2009. They are still some of my favorite and best fitting socks. I love this pattern and would knit it again in a heartbeat. You are commenting us...

Me Made May | Diane's lace, knitting and other crafts
https://dianelaces.wordpress.com/2015/05/01/me-made-may
Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. May 1, 2015. Posted in Bobbin Lace. At 4:52 am by dianelaces. There is a thing going around some of the sewing blogs where people use the month of May and wear garments every day that they made. I am going to try this, but my goal is to wear “something” I have made each weekday. I don’t sew garments, but between my hand knits and some of the lace jewelry and accessories I have this might be possible. We will see! 1 Comment ». May 1, 2015 at 8:59 am.

Finished objects | Diane's lace, knitting and other crafts
https://dianelaces.wordpress.com/2015/05/01/finished-objects-2
Diane’s lace, knitting and other crafts. May 1, 2015. At 1:11 pm by dianelaces. I’ve had a couple of items finished for a while now that I keep forgetting to blog about. These two items have been worn frequently since I finished them. This shrug is called Verdant. There’s nothing better than when a project surpasses expectations like that. You can see more info on my Ravelry project. It pleases me so much when projects turn out better than I imagined! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
