There is a very discernible line dividing the district, one half is heavy industry partially abandoned and the other half is mostly residential flats. The train tracks do a pretty good job of making this division clear. Jean Rouch Chronique d’un été (1961). Its been a few weeks, but I want to return to the cinéma vérité of Jean Rouch. Just based on this priview, it looks like one of the tightest Parkour documentaries I’ve see so far. What’s really striking here is the involvement and apparent encouragement of the architectural firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) for the subversion of Freerunning/Parkour of their designs.
