Saturday, November 20, 2010. Last weekend, I realized my collection of monthly titles for comics has grown out of control! And yet, making budget cuts, has been difficult. Wrestled with giving up Green Lantern but obviously- with the movie coming out- that ain't gonna happen! So I'll stick with the 3 monthly GL titles and am eagerly awaiting the crossover "War of Green Lanterns" series due out next spring/summer.and of course, can't wait for the flick with Ryan Reynolds. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Mental Fortitude. a.k.a. - Mental and emotional strength in facing difficulty, adversity, danger, or temptation courageously. That is what I lack. My life has been chock full of times where I gave up when things got difficult. Can't reach my parents standards in academics of 95% and above. so I stopped studying. Better to have an excuse for doing bad then to not reach standards when giving it your all. I choose to live out the past in my head and think about "what ifs". ha!
