Saturday, March 22, 2014. Five years ago tomorrow I took a day off from teaching. I put on my spring like white dress and headed to the courthouse. It was chilly, but nice outside, and I was a nervous wreck. I was probably 13 weeks pregnant with Aubree and since I had a temp teaching job, I had no insurance. Friday, October 12, 2012. Hug your kids tight.every single day. There are some days I just want to scream. I want to cry. I have tripped over one too many toys and I have listened to one too many temper tantrums. One kid is screaming bloody murder and I could not tell you why, and the other is yelling "mommmmy! Being a mom is hard. In fact, it is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. When I am given a break I TAKE IT. Bottom line. Do I miss them? Every single moment I get to spend with my kids.
