Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Rileigh played volleyball for the city league this spring. She had the best time being part of a team and getting to know some new friends. I was so proud of her for stepping out and trying something new! The team had a great season. They only had 3 losses and those were REALLY close, down to the 3rd set each time. Go PURPLE FURY! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. The most precious one there. They sang the CUTEST songs about Rapunzel and The Billy Goats Gruff. I also have to brag on her a little. They only had a limited number of speaking parts and the teachers drew names to see who got them. When Rileigh didn't get a part, the mama bear in me started asking all kinds of questions, "Well, who DID get a part? How many parts are there? My 7 year old is more mature than I am. God has a funny way of using your kids to put you in your place!

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. President's Day Mini Vacay! Well, despite my poor sweet Elliot being sick, we decided to go on to Memphis. It had been planned for so long and it was the only weekend we could be there that Louis was off. So off to Memphis we went! We got there Friday and had a delicious home-cooked supper from sweet Bethany! Afterward, we had fun just letting the kids play and hang out at the house. It was so cool! Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Snow Queen Rehearsal and Ballet Observation. Emmy had her ballet observation the first week of November. She is in Mrs. Pam's class this year. Thursday, March 12, 2009. This past weekend I took the girls to a birthday party for "M" that was turning 4. The party was at a cheer academy. Even Brooke loved the jumps as you can tell from the pics. We had a blast and really enjoyed catching up with sunday school friends since we have been involved in other areas of the church. Kirsten (4), Brooke (1), and Shelby (6). Look at those limber legs. Kirsten loves being a big sister! Our friend Kassidy was a big help entertaining Brooke. Life as a Ward.

My kids typically experience anything "country" with their Nanna, but yesterday Matt took them to do something they have been begging to do.fish at the reservoir. We have for sure hit the "hot" of summer so they waited until 6ish to go and ended up staying until dark.they had the best time! Cooper caught the first fish, and he ended up only catching one. Anna Lauren actually caught two fish. Think they may have enjoyed swimming as much as fishing.

And he would tell anyone who was willing to listen. :) Actually he has been looking forward to turning 5 since about November. :) And as for me- - it makes me happy to see him so happy and excited.
