This is, sort of, one of my Mum’s recipes. I’ve repeatedly tried over the years to make scones, which invariably turned out like rocks. It works a treat and they are quickly becoming a last minute supper standby. Preheat the oven to 220 C/Gas mark 7. 225g Self Raising Flour. 1 tsp Baking Powder. Grease a baking sheet.

Works hard at school and struggles to come to terms with some of the things that Tobi her 16 year old (undiagnosed ASD suffering) brother put our family through. Along with the two kids I also live with my overworked husband and our intellectually challenged dog Rosie. Follow our story on how hard it is to deal with a kid who struggles to understand the world he lives in.
