Tuesday, February 16, 2010. I haven't posted in such a long time and there have been so many things that have happened between birthdays and holidays so I am just going to do my best to catch up. I started with Connor's birthday and I am just going to move forward from there. Wish me luck! Spike the Dinosaur was a huge hit with everyone except for Duke (the dog). Monday, May 31, 2010. In four weeks we will leave this place we have called home for the last three years. It really is bittersweet. We have really grown to love the south and made some amazing friends. We are excited to move on to the next phase of life without school and with paychecks! Monday, March 21, 2011. Mardi Gras SLC style! No one can leave New Orleans without a love for Mardi Gras! We will carry out the tradition even though we are miles and miles away. I shipped in Crawfish from the Louisiana swamps and we had ourselves a proper boil! I also made an amazing King cake, and some beignets. And some spicy gumbo and Jambalaya! Monday, April 19, 2010. Lyssa's insistence on naming our baby boy "Chubby little Guy", turned out to be prophetic. Mason. Joined our family on April 13th at 8:11am weighing in a. 21 1/2 in long. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Christmas Is Coming, the Goose is Getting Fat! I LOVE. this time of year! I love the hustle and bustle of the holiday. Receiving Christmas cards in the mail, and mailing ours out, buying gifts for family and friends, the music, fun holiday movies.there is nothing about the month of December that I don't like. Monday, August 31, 2009. This has definitely been the busiest month of my life! Turned 2 on the 16th. She is a little firecracker and will start playschool next month.
