I thought I had missed the parade since it occurs on the first Saturday of the summer, but apparently the summer doesn't start at the start of June like I was told? Thursday, November 25, 2010. What a difference a day makes. If I had been writing this blog on Tuesday instead of Thursday you'd be getting a much different show! Fortunately there has been some more signs of promise today and yesterday so I'm happy as I sit down and write this! Saturday, March 31, 2007. So, where did I leave off? Yesterday, we spent the day calling around the potential rentals and trying to arrange some viewings. Before we could do that though, we had to have a fry, why? Why not. After being ripped off yet again for some suasages and rashers, we made our way home to burn Carmel's house to the ground. Saturday wasn't filled with too much excitement as I had misplaced my traveling guides and when I went into the city to go places, I didn't know where they were so just spent the day walking about and lazing in Central Park. Management would like to sincerely apologise for the disruption to your regularly scheduled blog but we are now back in operation and urge you to sit back, get comfortable and read. I'll cut to the chase since you're such an impatient bunch! It was painful to sit there, hot, hot, hot. The sight of so much water was torturous, it was very, very tempting. We left the Met and made our way towards the Port Authority Bus Terminal to get some tickets to the Meadowlands, we were off for some more FOOTBALL!
