https://sarahmj82.wordpress.com/2008/08/24/module-five
Thoughts and progress in Net 11. August 24, 2008. What will I learn in module five? Alright, so module five appears to focus on three main areas:. The Internet: What does the future hold? I read some of the Nardi, O’Day concepts on Information Ecologies a couple of weeks ago and really their thoughts and theories. Thoughts and progress in Net 11. August 2, 2008. As it turned out there was a problem with my web page. Thankfully, Owen kindly let me know and I think it’s fixed. I believe the problem was that I didn’t upload the photos as well as the page file. Makes sense. This entry was posted in Module three work. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. A running commentary as I stumble my way through NET 11. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. 8220;We define an information ecology to be a system of people, practices, values, and technologies in a particular local environment. In information ecologies, the spotlight is not on technology, but on human activities that are served by technology.”. Nardi and O’Day, 1999). Thinking about the internet as an "information ecology". A running commentary as I stumble my way through NET 11. Monday, July 14, 2008. Adobe check, flash and shockwave. check, media players. yes, those and more. My favourite is Winamp. But I already had the others too. Music is something I really love so my media players get used a LOT, I find Winamp the easiest to use, especially the Bento. On a side note, I use Firefox.
