Tuesday, October 11, 2011. 8/5/2011 - Zoo Camp and The Rest of Summer. Ji-Oh spent a week at the Houston Zoo camp. It was a great program except it marked the beginning of Ji-Oh's complaints about the weather. I guess that's just what happens when you spend every morning outside when it's over a 100 degrees. While Ji-Oh fed the giraffes and learned about monkeys, I took AJ to a the mall where she stuffed her face instead of playing. These are two projects from the zoo camp - monkey face and okapi horns.

This is my version of the Trapeze Dress in Heather Ross's book (I think it's weekend projects or something). I had to add the tie because it looked too much like a maternity dress otherwise.
