Aikido…

The Government and Me. There is clearly an important role for federal government; anarchy is not an option. The federal government should do the following:. Reflection at the End of the Day. Random thoughts often coalesce at the end of long days . here you will find my random thoughts, whenever the mood strikes me. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. About 8 weeks ago, I was at a conference in Budapest, Hungary. Each day, there was a two-hour time frame for lunch and one evening there was a group activity. Reflection at the End of the Day. Random thoughts often coalesce at the end of long days . here you will find my random thoughts, whenever the mood strikes me. Sunday, September 26, 2010. The death of English has been exaggerated greatly. I have had a sneaking suspicion that, over the next 10 years, as the Chinese emerge as the number one global economy, that English will disappear as the language of business and travel. After this week, I have had second thoughts. Which dialect should you learn? So, I c...

Reflection at the End of the Day. Random thoughts often coalesce at the end of long days . here you will find my random thoughts, whenever the mood strikes me. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I have gotten quite fed up with most of the media outlets, especially the visual ones. Points:. It seems that most of the time the news media gets it wrong in the first several days of covering any story. Each outlet has its own group of talking heads that it pays to give opinions. Many experts are just wrong. The train...

Japanese Castle Explorer - Namako kabe walls
http://www.japanese-castle-explorer.com/namako_wall.html
Is a common sight when visiting older sections of many of Japans cities and towns. Certainly they are stylish but they also serve a practical purpose. The tiles and plaster-filled interstices help protect the wall by allowing it to better shed moisture. The wall gets its name from the sea cucumber (Namako - 海鼠), presumably due to the similarly-contoured, plaster ridges that border the tiles. Either that or the sausage-like sea creatures were forced to work as labourers in their construction. Daniel is an...
