Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Lots of stuff happened today but we got in kinda late so not much to report right now. 1 Breakfast at McDonald. 2 Toured the our nations capital building. 3 Started raining.ducked into the "America's Voice" building to get out of the rain and met Joseph, a security guard. 4 Ate lunch at Quizno's. 5 Went back to the Air and Space Museum where Carson and I got fly in a flight simulator. Of course I got sick. 8 McDonalds for supper.a late supper. Jason, Crysti, Carson, and Hattie.

Sunday, July 8, 2007. The day started off with our first visit to the wonderful Metro (subway). Man it was a real trip. Our first destination of the day was the Spy Museum. I'm not sure that. Next stop.Museum of Natural History. There were lions, tigers, and bears.oh my! Hey Dan check out this armadillo. We also got to see the Hope Diamond.I don't get it, what is so cool about a diamond? It wasn't even clear. Anyway, we also saw a mummy, woolly mammoth, and some really fascinating animal photographs.

Monday, July 9, 2007. Getting tired.must have Red Bull. Our travels then led us to the Holocaust Museum. We were asked not to take pictures there as well and we honored that request. The tour was very moving and eye-opening. There were many artifacts, pictures, and videos of some of the travesties. As we continued with our day we found ourself at the Arlington National Cemetery. Freedom comes with a price as we are well aware of but to actually see the cost from this perspective was very moving. Oh and n...
