Ministry of Helps Team. In I Corinthians 12, God describes "helps" as an integral part of the body of Christ. Volunteers at Jefferson City Christian Center Church are involved in many aspects of the ministry. We encourage all members to be involved in the work of the ministry. The body of Christ is not complete until we all do the jobs we have been called to do. The ministry of helps gives an opportunity to grow into other areas of ministry such as prison or jail outreach.

On Sunday mornings the children worship with their families during the first part of the service. Children ages 4 to 12 are sent to another room during the teaching portion of the service to have their own fun, age-appropriate teaching. Each service at Jefferson City Christian Center Church involves a time of praise and worship. This is a vital time to prepare our hearts to receive God's Word and God's presence.
