Kari's Crazes: Easter Extravaganza
http://brighamandkaritappana.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-extravaganza.html
Monday, April 13, 2015. We had a fun Easter this year, started off with a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt put on by the Primary in our ward. Saturday, we carried our treats over to my parents house and had an afternoon of Easter fun. I coerced my husband and brother to help with another activity I had planned for the kids. They filled 100 eggs with pieces of a puzzle and hid them around the back yard. The kids had to find all the eggs and then put the puzzle together. Because it was General Conference, ...

Kari's Crazes: September 2014
http://brighamandkaritappana.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Tappana Times: August and September. Brigham recently had a work picnic at the local derby, Emerald Downs. Being that horses are my favorite animal, and that I have never been to a horse race before, I was interested in checking it out. Since no one expected the little horse I picked to win, we were against the odds and won a large million dollar jackpot! It was a crazy day! I told you.I had fun daydreaming.). I replied "Oh yeah? Yeah, because he's a GREEAAAT brother.".

Monday, February 9, 2015. Tappana Times: The Lives of Lydia and Ammon. Lydia noticed a white spot on the ham she was eating for lunch and exclaimed to herself, "Is that a LUNG! I could help but laugh my head off when I overheard, to which Lydia all-knowingly countered, "What? I know this is pig! Black eye courtesy of Uncle Kenny. Let me tell you, it was hilarious. Until he came sobbing to me at breakfast because he poked his finger with his fork. Not Ammon's finest morning. They did great, according to R...

Kari's Crazes: April 2014
http://brighamandkaritappana.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Month in Review: March. March started out great with our friends' princess party that Lydia and Ammon were able to attend. Although Lydia looks like the birthday girl, it's actually the big day for the two twin girls on either side of her. It was a fun time with face painting, cupcakes, dress up, pin the kiss on the frogs, and much more for a bunch of little girls. Oh yeah, and Ammon. Lydia had a blast, however, and it was nice to be able to celebrate her favorite twins' birthday.

Saturday, March 29, 2014. Plenty to Say and First Haircuts. Lately my kiddos sure have had a lot to say. And they have been shocking me with the things coming out of their mouths. I'm either laughing, or pausing to contain my surprise. I already talked about some of the crazy deep questions that Lydia has been asking in her birthday post, but she has kept them coming. Lydia: Mom, did Heavenly Father create Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny? Lydia: Why did Jesus create holidays? Priceless :) And while Ammo...

Kari's Crazes: January 2015
http://brighamandkaritappana.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. With a birthday so close to Christmas, we tend to keep things a little low-key for Ammon. And I think it's just fine.considering that's sort of how he is. As long as his favorite foods and presents are involved, he's good to go. I feel a little bad sometimes, but I know we can get away with no hurt feelings for now. The joy of an oblivious childhood. We tried taking some birthday pictures and I relish the personality that shines through in each shot. This little boy, who is su...

Kari's Crazes: December 2014
http://brighamandkaritappana.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Tappana Times: Beginnings of Winter. Brigham's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year. We spent it at my cousin George's house in Bothell. His wife did such a fantastic job getting everything set up, and it looked beautiful with the triangle napkins and everything. I made Brigham a special cookie-dough ice cream pie for dessert and it was a hit. Pretty much all of Thanksgiving was a hit. In other big news: WE HAVE OUR OWN HOUSE! It was quite hilarious some of the things I unpa...

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Here are some of the snippets of the emails sent between us children and Dad:. Dad: I suggest one of my wonderful daughters fakes a pregnancy and she has to go to Utah for the baby. The problem with this is one of you would have to fake the idea that you got pregnant in July or August. Is this even a possibility? Just throwing out ideas. Sadie: It totally is for me! Disclaimer.I am not pregnant.we think. And they really want to see Mom and Dad. Mom may object, at which poin...

Friday, May 30, 2014. My Basics On Saving $ $ On Your Grocery Bill. Honestly, I miss living in Utah because it was so easy to save. Now that I live in Washington my store options are limited.namely to Fred Meyer. I miss my stores! But there are still lots of basic ways that you can cut down your bill no matter where you are, so I'll start with those. First key point: SHOP THE SALES. So if you don't have access to a hard copy, go to the store's website online and check what's on sale that week. By plannin...
