This is much higher than most people rate Rosenberg due to his lack of pre-draft hype and the fact that he is a relief pitcher. As I feel it is a bit more relevant I have gone into more depth on the NL East teams. I have also put the team MVPs and their surprise player who are either impact rookies or just players who have significantly larger impact than expected. 4 New York Mets. 2 St Louis Cardinals. 1 Los Angeles Dodgers. 3 San Francisco Giants. 5 San Diego Padres.

Castro does fit the bill of that type of player as he can play the middle infield positions. Castro represents almost no increase over Bruntlett offensively or defensively. Friday, May 14, 2010. Jonathan Singleton Homers in Lakewood Debut. First basemen, Jonathan Singleton debuted for the Lakewood Blueclaws in a big way Thursday night by homering in his second at bat. Singleton was drafted in the 8th round out of Long Beach, CA in last years draft.
