Baby Kirschner

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. NICU experience with our son. Seemed like an eternity! They took him from me for about 4-5 hours! They made my mother cry, and to keep it brief without going into a big rant, those couple nurses made our NICU experience much more stressful (as if it wasn't stressful enough already) then it should have been. I was discharged monday night well technically 12am tuesday. That was hard to leave Owen in the NICU and go home! Praise God for a healthy baby boy since we have been home!

Baby Kirschner: Labor & Delivery December 10, 2011

http://jckirschner.blogspot.com/2012/03/labor-delivery-december-10-2011.html

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Labor and Delivery December 10, 2011. Labor and Delivery: 39 wks 2 days. Lady I am in labor, this is not false labor! Finally, the midwife came in and she took her time, still thinking I was not in actual labor! She checked me and her eyes got REAL big, she said "you are 7cm and 100% effaced! You are having a baby! I knew that already! They then moved me into my own delivery room, and my contractions picked up! The nurse again had a million questions to ask me. ugh! The jacuzzi r...

Then Saturday when it was just Joe and I we decided to decorate for Christmas before the baby comes! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My husband and I are expecting ou...

Baby Kirschner: September 2011

http://jckirschner.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 9, 2011. 2nd Trimester: Weeks 21-25. Week 21: Not a whole lot has changed since the last post. Well maybe the fact that Braxton Hicks are definitely in the picture now! As well as some increased pain in my back from the sciatic nerve. Baby also moves even more! Week 22: Baby's movements are very regular and he is most active in the evenings when I lay down in bed. We also had the excitement of trying the experiment of putting a flashlight on my belly to see if he would react! Baby doesn...

Baby Kirschner: January 2012

http://jckirschner.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 4, 2012. 39 Weeks (December 8, 2011). This is my last weekly picture! Didn't know it would be at the time but two days later I delivered! I was so happy! Midwife said all those false labor episodes were progressing me! She also said that she could tell I had dropped since last week just by my belly measurements! On the 8th I figured I should make sure I had all of Joe's Christmas presents because I wasn't sure how much more time I would have! We decided to go to the Love Came Down at C...

My Balcony Garden: For the Love of Reading

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006/09/for-love-of-reading.html

Wednesday, September 20, 2006. For the Love of Reading. Last weekend, while running errands, I made a sudden, quick turn onto Aberdeen instead of continuing on Beechnut. (I tend to make a lot of "quick turns"- just ask Hubby). In that split second, I had decided to check out the city library for some interesting reads. (and you thought I was exciting ;-).). The building was glorious- big and new, just like the one in Marietta. I walked in. Posted by Beth @ 4:06 PM. Ah, good times. Alabama, United States.

My Balcony Garden: June 2006

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 29, 2006. I'm headed out to Atlanta after work today! I'm very happy. I'll be gone until July 9, so please don't expect me to be blogging much, if at all, until then. Oh, I donated blood today. My arm still hurts, but it was worth it I think. Hopefully they put it to good use! Hmmm, I guess that's all I can think of saying. Once again, have a great 4th! Posted by Beth @ 1:05 PM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. I've saved the most dear places for last. And I can't wait to get to know Tyler better.

My Balcony Garden: September 2006

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 25, 2006. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Last week Hubby and I went downtown to Minute Maid Park to watch the Houston Astros take on the St. Louis Cardinals. It was such a great game. The Astros came back in the bottom of the 8th to be up 6-5, and they held them through the 9th. The cannons went off, the train blew its horn (Does any Houstonian know what the meaning of the train is? And the fireworks popped. It was such a fantastic time. Posted by Beth @ 5:47 PM. For the Love of Reading.

My Balcony Garden: It's my Birthday!

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2007/03/its-my-birthday.html

Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Posted by Beth @ 9:06 PM. That's the most adorable picture! At first I was like "How did you get a cat to wear a birthday hat? Hehe Stu made that picture for me and put it as his wallpaper on his laptop. I just had to stick it up on my blog. Isn't she cute? Oh, and the flower is real. She loves to play with that thing. She is cute. I want to come meet her now! He was successful in making me lose my place in the book. *smile* Ah, kitties. Gotta love them! Alabama, United States.

Monday, February 27, 2006. Not that you all really care, but humor me :-).). One day this fabric will be a beautiful quilt! Posted by Beth @ 6:49 PM. Sunday, February 26, 2006. It's really weird how much and how quickly things are changing with my family, and it's even weirder for me since I feel so far removed from them. Here's a quick update on how the gang is doing . . . My other sister, Lauren, is obsessed with American Idol just like me! We seem to always have more and more in common! So Hubby has s...

My Balcony Garden: AWOL

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006/10/awol.html

Thursday, October 19, 2006. I've definitely been out of it lately. So many things going on and so little time. Here's a quick summary:. I got contacts (to be precise, a contact)! When my eye insurance plan kicked in in September, I hiked on over to my doctor to get it! I was so nervous at first, and I think it took me a half hour or so to finally get that stupid thing in, but I finally did it. Now I have no problem with it. I love being able to see without dealing with glasses! Posted by Beth @ 8:19 PM.

My Balcony Garden: Christmas Wreath

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006/11/christmas-wreath.html

Thursday, November 30, 2006. Last Christmas my work held a Christmas wreath decorating contest- this year I thought I'd participate. I hadn't done wreaths before, but I figured, since I did my flowers in my wedding, it can't be that hard. I think it came our really well. I chose the angel theme to mimic our Christmas tree, which is covered in angel ornaments I've received over the years from my Grandma. Posted by Beth @ 7:34 PM. I really like that wreath! My Balcony Garden: Meet Lucy!

http://balconygarden28.blogspot.com/2006/12/meet-lucy.html

Friday, December 29, 2006. She's the newest addition to our family! Her name is Lucy, and we adopted her today after work. Isn't she sweet? Hubby and I have been talking about getting a pet for awhile. We decided to wait until all the Christmas bustle was over, with all the traveling we did it would have been too hard to try to adopt a pet. Here she is looking all prim and proper. She seems to be a very sweet cat- very willing to let us hold her and play with her. Look how teeny she is!
