Jewish Coalition for Literacy. Can you read this? That means you can help a child who can’t. In just one hour a week (or more – your choice! One-to-one or small group reading support using read aloud approach. Organize book drives and book giveaways at JCL partner schools. Students or People Served. JCL needs volunteer tutors both during school hours and after-school hours. We have numerous tutoring sites throughout the Peninsula (and beyond) that need volunteers between the hours of 7:45am and 6:00pm.
