Our Wingfield Depot on Cormack road was completed in 2009. This facility boasts 3500m² dry storage plus large chilled and frozen areas in the genset backed cold storage warehouses. All systems are backed with a diesel generator that provides instantaneous failover, ensuring business as usual in the case of power failure. Collins and our world class cold transport facilities are ready for your fresh produce. Product Storage - Huge Dry and Cold warehouses. Complete Video Surveillance - Covers the yard.

Collins Transport applies an index to freight to avoid regular direct adjustment of freight fees according to the price of fuel. Fuel levy for August 2016 is 1.65%. From the 1st August 2015 the diesel fuel rebate has been adjusted by 0.060 cents. As per our calculations, this will affect the current fuel levy by approx 0.2%. This will be adjusted from the current monthly fuel levy from the 1st January 2015. This levy will regularly be updated on the first business day of the month.

Our storage capacity (3500sqm) is significant for any produce - we provide Dry, Chilled, Frozen and Ambient environments. Thermally controlled environments with backups ensure your produce is kept in peak condition. We can store on a long or a short term basis. We have freezer storage to suit all your individual requirements up 3000 pallets. We offer a personalised service or you have the opportunity of controlling your storage requirements yourself. We use refrigerated transport technology that allows us to keep food fresh as if it had just been harvested. With regular driver monitoring of your goods as they are transported we are able to ensure that the produce arrives as fresh as it was prior to being harvested. Our drivers are well trained in cold transport technology, this ensures that all produce arrives in the same condition as when picked up from your depot.
