Maandag 3 augustus 2015. THAILAND 2015 (Island hopping). Deze ochtend hoeven we ons nergens voor te haasten, dus doen we het rustig aan. Deze middag vertrekken we op sunsetcruise. eilanden bezoeken, snorkelen, naar de zonsondergang kijken. Dus hebben we nu nog tijd voor een wandeling langs het strand. Hoe vaak ik alles ook uitspoel, de geur is er niet uit te krijgen! Maar goed, we hebben reservekledij mee. Eerste stop die we maken is Chicken Island. de vorm van het eiland verklaart meteen de naam. Donderdag 6 augustus 2015. Thailand, een prachtig land, vriendelijke mensen en vooral. heel lekker eten! Deze keer kozen we voor een combinatie van een actieve en een rustigere vakantie en het is ons echt heel goed gelukt om een combinatie van beide te vinden. We hebben genoten van wat we hebben gezien, beleefd, geproefd en vooral heel erg veel genoten van elkaar. We kijken er dan ook naar uit om nog enkele dagen naar Frankrijk te trekken om als echte kampeerders nog een weekje te gaan genieten.

Vrijdag 17 augustus 2012. Als het waar is dat God vijf dagen heeft uitgetrokken om da wereld te scheppen en één voor de mens, dan is Hij minstens twee dagen bezig geweest met Nieuw-Zeeland. (.) daarna besliste Hij dat de mens in Zijn paradijs mocht wonen, maar niet in Zijn kroonjuweel.". Dat is het stuk dat mijn aandacht trok toen ik het boek "van Bangkok tot Melbourne" las. Na wat opzoekwerk werd het voor ons alleen maar duidelijker! Met een aantal reisgidsen bij de hand, reden we door het hele land :-).

Dinsdag 4 augustus 2015. THAILAND 2015 (Krabi nightmarket). Nog nagenietend van onze leuke boottocht van gisteren, trekken we na het ontbijt naar het strand. We hebben eigenlijk nog niet echt het strand uit onze buurt verkend. Bij deze dus…. Gewapend met een spiksplinternieuwe strandmat zoeken we een plekje onder de bomen en nog belangrijker…. vlak bij een beachbar waar je voor een appel en een ei fruitshakes en pannenkoeken kan krijgen. Zalig op het strand. Chillen op het strand. Dank je voor je reactie!

Vrijdag 7 juni 2013. India 2013 - to do! De tijd begint te korten. Dringend tijd dus om aan mijn to-do lijstje te beginnen. De knoop is wel eindelijk doorgehakt wat bestemmingen betreft. Mumbai - Cochin (Kerala) - Agra - Delhi. Dat wordt de reisroute in grove lijnen. Cochin en omstreken gaan we echt doen voor de rust en de natuur. Daar hebben we allebei dringend een behoefte aan. Op zo een korte tijd gaan we het deze keer echt niet te vol proppen. Genieten deze keer. Morgen begin ik eraan!
