My mathematics, up to now the only lasting and immovable island in my entire dislocated life, had also broken loose and floated whirling off. This novel takes the traditional expectations of women and exaggerates them to the extreme. The women in The Handmaid's Tale. Is an attack on any specific group of people but just a general statement against generalizing and stereotyping women. Just like any other dystopian work, The Handmaid's Tale. As a good novel.
