Sunday, June 20, 2010. We decided to go to a local pool on Father's Day to keep cool during this hot, hot, hot summer. We've been meaning to go, so today was a perfect day. Landon was very timid the first hour we were there. He was a little scared and didn't want to go in. Finally, Jason kinda forced him into it and he LOVED it! Saturday, October 31, 2009. Happy Halloween from Mr. Skeleton! Although it is Landon's second Halloween, it was much more eventful because he can walk and he understands much more. We went over to a friends' house who was having a kids Halloween party. There were probably 10 kids all dressed up. It was really cute and I think everyone had a good time. Sunday, July 4, 2010. July 4th weekend visit to Pittsburgh. We went home to Pittsburgh over the long July 4 weekend to see our families and so everyone could meet Alexandra. We spent the first few days with Jason's family and then the last few days with my family. On Saturday, we had a family picnic at Jason's parents house. Alexandra did great, as she got passed around. Friday, December 25, 2009. We had a busy Christmas Day running around from house to house. We woke up at MeMa's house and opened presents. By time Landon got to his 3rd or 4th present he was overwhelmed and would go back to present #1 or #2. He favorite gift was his hand-me-down car toy from his cousin Hunter. Friday, April 23, 2010. Monday, April 19, 2010. April 19, 2010 - the worst day of my life. So we had to train her to suck, swallow and breathe! What a horrible experience, but our baby is healthy, just needs a little coaching! I have to say, I had AWESOME nurses in the NICU. Amazing women - thank you for getting me through those 3 horrible days! Deja Vu - Almost 33 years later, MeMa is holding a baby in the NICU. Not her daughter this time, her granddaughter.
