Rugby World Cup 2011. Thursday, 6 October 2011. Day 33 - Wellington to Christchurch. Two earthquakes on Wednesday night ironically one where we camped when we had the thunderstorm. We did not feel anything though. Not sure if I am relieved or disappointed to be honest. It would be great to experience one but even nicer to survive. Oh well we are in Christchurch tonight so let's see what happens here. Ferry back to South Island was quite rough. Weather is supposed to clear up again today but not so far.

We abandoned Mitchell's "lords of the rings" tour after it was clear he did know where we were going and we ended up on a tiny road for 20km (it was impossible to turn around).
