Sites of All Kinds. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Brian's parents visited us in Cincinnati on Easter. We went to Newport, which offers a great view of the Cincinnati skyline. After greeting these new strangers to her domain. Stella decided to ignore them. The Count of course, went to find a familiar lap instead. The next weekend, I went to Holland briefly to see my mom. Sites of All Kinds. Monday, July 23, 2012. It has been quite a while since our last post. I have been spending a lot of time in Indiana working. I don't want to post details on the internet, but in general we are examining archaeological materials in an area that will soon be covered by a road. Here I am with one of my coworkers:. Over the past week, we have had some impressive clouds appearing in the afternoon. We haven't gotten significant rain from these clouds, but they are still nice to observe.

Sites of All Kinds. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Before I went to Hungary, Brian's parents came to visit us in Cincinnati. We spent a nice afternoon together, despite the chilly, windy weather. Sites of All Kinds. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. A couple weeks ago, Brian and I went to Orlando to spend some time with his family. It was a nice break from the chilly spring and the end-of-semester crunch. I chose swimming over chess. Plenty of indoor relaxing time too. We also played a little shuffleboard. Sites of All Kinds. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The most time consuming part was filling the dumplings. I used pre-made dumpling wrappers to save time, which worked well. Sites of All Kinds. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Living room decor and hair cut. I have spent some time this week setting up a few more things in our house. Now that the living room is painted, I was able to make the large bookshelf and attach it to the wall. I also started unpacking artwork and getting it put up. Today, I got my hair cut! Sites of All Kinds. Monday, June 11, 2012. There was a lot of packing and sorting and throwing away to do. David and Dad by the front deck. The lovely green plant at David's feet is a mat of thyme. Rachel's folks and my Mom: We grilled burgers and asparagus and had some folks over to celebrate D&R's anniversary (10 years! When I told Joes that we were celebrating his parents' anniversary, he asked if they had ever had one before. Also, I am in serious danger of getting sprayed by the hose.

Sites of All Kinds. Friday, September 7, 2012. Several weeks ago, my parents came to visit us in Cincinnati for the weekend. During their time here, we did several interesting activities together. We viewed Cincinnati from the top of Carew Tower. We went to some interesting restaurants. We went to the aquarium (see next post). I was really happy they had a chance to come visit us.
