http://rebeccaandgerrit.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. We're looking forward to seeing lots of the Winkel family this month with a baptism, birthday party, and wedding all in the next three weeks! With Rachelle and Mark. All the cousins (in attendance) who have served missions so far. There are also two currently serving. There were tons of people at the homecoming, but all the older cousins congregated here to eat and chat! Wednesday, February 15, 2012. The table I came home to after a very long day. Gerrit and Rebecca: Summer Time!
http://rebeccaandgerrit.blogspot.com/2012/05/summer-time.html
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. We have been having a nice summer and enjoying the mostly beautiful weather here in Provo. One thing that I haven't taken enough advantage of while living here is the availability of hiking trails, so Gerrit and I have taken some Saturdays recently and gone hiking! It was much colder than I expected at the top- luckily Gerrit had brought his sweatshirt and let me wear it :). Looking back to the mountains. From the parking lot- this is what we hiked! http://rebeccaandgerrit.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Happy Chinese New Year! Gerrit and I had a great family home evening last night as we celebrated the Chinese new year with lots of friends and lanterns! A friend in our ward is from China and she invited several of us out last night to send up lanterns to celebrate the holiday. We each got a paper lantern and we wrote on it our wish for the new year. Then we lit the candle underneath, let the lantern fill with hot air, and sent it off- just like in Tangled. I can't wait to see ...

We barely made it to the Thomas and Mack Center on Friday in order to get tickets for the Saturday game.thanks to Gerrit's great driving skills, we made it just in time to get four of the last 100 tickets!
