Thursday, June 18, 2009. We just moved three weeks ago to Hubbard. After living nearly downtown Portland we were ready for some quiet! A super nice house came up for rent for a great deal just 5 minutes from my parents so we're here. So far we're loving it. In just three weeks we've moved in, built a raised veggie garden that is already growing like crazy and "adopted" four baby kittens who were abandoned under the shed. Saturday, January 10, 2009. We had a wonderful Christmas season with marshall's parents here to visit for 2 weeks. We travelled all over the UK. We went to the lake District -which is absolutely gorgeous - even in the dead of winter, and Scotland (see castle photos above), and the coast, and tons more! It was a wonderful and busy trip. After we took them back to the airport on New Year's Eve day- we headed home and like party poopers- went to bed at 9:30 pm. We were tuckered out from all the fun!

Thursday, December 4, 2008. Beginning to look a lot like Christmas. It's that time of year again. The day after Thanksgiving we got out the tree and nativity and put up all the decor. We also got out the Christmas music and movies. I later found out Marshall had been sneaking and listening to Christmas tunes when I was not around- the tradition is to get them out the day after Thanksgiving - but Marshall started early this year :).
