Both PGS and and VOBSUB subtitles consist of a series of bitmapped images and aren't actually "text" at all. PGS subtitles on a blu-ray are 1920x1080px resolution images. Friday, September 21, 2012. Raspberry Pi First Steps. Owner of a new Raspberry Pi! After following some stories on Ars Technica and out of sheer curiosity, I decided to make the purchase. This tiny computer is pretty cool. Commonly advertised for 25$ but in the end was just over 50$ (35$ for model plus shipping plus tax); luckily I didn't have to buy a HDMI connector, SD card or power adapter since I had spares lying around. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Tangent: Handbrake, PlayStation 3 and 5.1 Surround Sound. I'm currently in the process of building a media center at home so I can just use my PlayStation 3 to navigate and play all the movies I own. I'm using Handbrake. To convert my videos and I was using the PS3 Media Server (PMS). While streaming the video, I attempted at switching the audio stream manually and poof, it worked! Happy for a second, then wondering why doesn't the audio automatically choose the 5.1 stream? Hoping...
