We have had such a fun month learning about Thanksgiving! I wasn't super great at taking pictures of everything we did. Here are a few of the things I did remember to take pictures of! Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Part 3 - Yellowstone. We just happened to be in Yellowstone during the hottest days they had this summer. We came prepared with jackets, etc. but totally melted instead. So these bears were actually at a really cool bear park in West Yellowstone, but so amazing and totally worth the extra stop! Trying to make an "awkward family photo" :). Doesn't that backdrop look fake? I think these photos look like a postcard, but we really took them! But sadly, no moose.

Sunday, November 21, 2010. 20 on the 20th. Just had our 20 th. Cassie pointed out that it was 20 years on the 20 th. Of November and it's funny that we hadn't even realized that. Pretty cool. I think that's a good reason to just keep celebrating! So many great years together with lots of love and plenty of laughter ;). Thursday, November 11, 2010. Ethan and his hippie friends. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. So it's been a super busy few months for us with Wayne's collarbone healing, calling changes (I got released from RS President and Wayne got called to EQ Pres the same week.crazy), a car accident, work issues, etc. etc. In any case, I will continue to post some highlights from the past few months. I've been printing this blog each year and our kids love to look back through the books. It's really our only family history, so I gotta keep going. Only $1.50 at Diddy Riese!

Home Again, Home Again! A week ago today my parents returned home from their two year LDS mission in Milan, Italy. They were serving there as military relations missionaries. I think the highlight of their service was teaching seminary for the two school years they were there. The day they got home those who were going to the airport mot up at Ben's house for lunch. Saturday, July 30, 2011. Brynn turns 17 and celebrates at her favorite place, BJ's pizza! A family adventure that wasn't so adventurous-. We tried to ride the orange balloon at the "Great Park" in Irvine. After waiting a couple hours, they shut it down right before our turn! Too much wind) The kids said it was fun anyway,. Just chillin' and hanging together. Waiting for the balloon. Getting ready for some fun, sun and beach in Santa Barbara. Sister love- kind of sad since it was probably Brynn's.

The Polar Express Sibling Supper. Since all of Louis' sibling would be together over Christmas it was decided to have a sibling supper. I had the idea of a Polar Express party, so Louis and I were put in charge of it. Really the only thing that made is "Polar Express" was that we all wore our pajamas and the kids watched The Polar Express while we played games after dinner. Louis prepared games for the nights, he had many Christmas music quizzes. That everyone had fun doing. Everyone had so much fun!
