For this project, I tried to do most of my writing in the medium, that is, editing pages within wordpress itself in order to ensure I’m not simply copy and pasting an essay into different wordpress pages. On November 14, 2010. The following is a rhetorical analysis of the Kairos journal article, “Re-Articulating the Mission and Work of the Writing Program with Digital Video,”. The main purpose of the article is to promote the use of digital video by teachers who run writing programs. It explains that using video goes a long way in developing pathos between the speaker and the audience, where the audience is the group of educators who need to be convinced of the value of writing in other academic areas.

The journal article itself is presented like a website. The big sections of article each receive a tab at the top of the page. For example, the Title Page, Abstract, Text, References, and Credits all have their own separate tab, as seen in figure 1 (Kopp and Stevens).
