Saturday, August 22, 2009. Thought I'd give a little update on the last few weeks. I finished up working at the National Assoc. of Attorneys General (NAAG) the first week of August, and I spent a week in Florida with my family. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. We went up on Saturday, took pictures at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and the wedding itself was on Sunday. We started around 10am on Sunday and ended around 9:30pm - it was a long day but a lot of fun, too. The house we were staying at was built in 1793! What a great time of year for this trip! Thursday, March 19, 2009. Bad news comes in threes. I'm starting to not want to answer my phone. So, it's been a frustrating two days. I've been told bad news comes in threes, so I hope that's true. All in all, I'm doing alright - of course my family and I miss Abbey, and I'll be sad when my grandmother is gone, but she'll be in a better place, and God will work out my long-term job situation even though I can't see what's coming. Dr Adrian Rogers (1931-2005). Dr Rogers was a 3-time president of the Southern Baptist Convention and was the pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN, one of the largest churches in the country. Monday, September 21, 2009. Where did the month go? Wow, it's been almost a month since my last post - time is flying! School is off to a good start, and we're in our 4th week of classes. Friday, December 19, 2008. It's official: I'm half a lawyer! And I couldn't be happier! Hard to believe law school is half-way done. After my fun galavanting at the White House on Monday, I spent three days doing nothing but studying. I literally only left my apartment to check the mail. I had my last exam this morning, and it is so great to be done! The rest of my day has been spent doing laundry, packing, wrapping Christmas presents, and constantly singing along to Christmas music.
