I’m now starting to count down for a xmas break, the snow’s arrived finally and I got out for some climbing on Helvellyn today, long may it last. Again, this can be overridden though thankfully. Coding and climbing in Cumbria. I’ve recently written a super simple Data Factory for PHP, called FactoryLib. This can be used to create test data when unit testing your PHP code. Including this in your tests is very simple. Require 'factory lib.php' ; Factory: $factory data['my table name'] = array('name' = 'Jeb Wilkins', 'age' = '101') ;. There are two static methods which can be used to create data. Create - predictably used to create rows - Factory: create(‘my other table’). Get the code from GitHub.

This is a mock-up of a web application splash page, which I designed. Initial navigation is handled by the tiles below. Internal pages take advantage of an animated, collapsible navigation menu. JavaScript is used to animate the tiles upon hover. A timeout event was added to demonstrate how the application would behave while retrieving data from the database.
