My Story by Jean McCracken. Sunday, August 16, 2009. Just reporting in after an amazing weekend in Cranfield. On Saturday afternoon Elaine and her fantastic army of helpers had organised a strawberry tea to raise money for breast cancer care and show their support for Judy and myself. We had an awesome time, God blessed us with beautiful sunshine and almost £1100 was raised - an absolutely incredible achievement in 90 minutes! August 26, 2009 at 3:50 PM. Monday, 27 May 2013. Dad was 81 on Saturday, Elaine baked a very nice cake and the kids helped to blow out the candles. Saturday, 25 May 2013. Last night the girls got a chance to show what they are made off. Lorraine, Verdi and Lynn took part in the Runher Coastal Challenge. A gruelling run/walk from Hollywood to Crawfordsburn. Lorraine and Lynn walked and Verdi ran the route, and fair play put in a respectable time. The winning time was just over 36 mins which is incredible. Well done to everyone!

Wednesday, 14 March 2012. We promised ourselves that we wouldn't rush so we started the day at a leisurely pace. We booked two trips for later in the week at reception and then after several wardrobe adjustments, headed off on foot to find the Jewish quarter. I spent a lot of it burning up the road between the two schools drop off and pick up times, 1/2 days, early release days, etc. It was so nice though!
