I've contemplated long about what to do. I keep contemplating and wonder how to reinvent myself and what to emphasize about me that would be unique and meet needs that are out there. She made a big batch of cookies to take to the kids and forgot to bring them. The boys were nice enough to call her and thank her for the delicious cookies. Aaaargh! Is what they got from her. Life is also good, though. Yesterday for FHE we talked about this picture:. Somehow, our discussion went from the blessings of the sacrament, to "would we act differently if the Savior was with us? To "the Savior is always with us - through prayer" to "You can pray anytime, anywhere, for any reason.". And isn't that great?

Yesterday I saw a Physician's Assistant, an Orthopaedic Surgeon that specializes in ankles, and a Podiatrist that specializes in ankles (and yes - it was a lot of co-pays for one day). They all agreed on one thing: I need surgery. This Thursday. Then crutches for 4 to 6 weeks after that. CRUTCHES! My kids are jealous about the crutches part, btw.).
