Friday, November 30, 2012. Tom is more alert - praise God - and he is not moaning as much. Dr. Miller said they are still waiting on results from the urine and c-diff tests, he thinks Tom might have a bladder infection. They are continuing to give him antibiotics. Dennis is going to hang out with Tom while I go to my friend Rob's funeral tomorrow. Tom is pretty excited about it - I am so grateful for Dennis' willingness to give up his Saturday, not to mention all of the other time he spends with Tom.

Monday, January 7, 2013. I'm sitting here, watching the National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame, trying to decide which team Tom would be cheering for. First of all, he wouldn't be cheering - he watches silently while I "comment" on touchdowns and bad plays. He would usually pull for the SEC team, but growing up a good Catholic boy with lots of relatives that are Notre Dame fans, he might pull for them too! He would want to be watching a good game. Sunday, July 29, 2012. We're all anxious to gt the kitchen sink and running water connected tomorrow. I have loved having a working washer and dryer again! Another highlight from Friday was that our next door neighbors brought over the most amazing home-cooked dinner. I have attached a picture of the spread! We all ate at least two helpings and couldn't wait until lunch on Saturday to eat what was left! Monday, July 23, 2012. No more wound vac! Praising the Lord tonight that Tom no longer has a wound vac!
