Jeannie's Thyroid Cancer Journal. Getting a Diagnosis of Thyroid Cancer. Thursday, November 19, 2009. Thyroid Cancer - Radioactive Iodine Therapy. I had my radioactive iodine bullet today and thank God I did not have many symptoms. Just the runnies, more like firey runnies, but I can handle that. My brother Donnie called me today to tell me that he and his wife, Jean, are coming for Thanksgiving. Yea! We are going to have a great time! Will keep you posted. I am getting all excited about Thanksgiving.

T is 2:30 AM and I am curled in the bath tub tapping away at the keys of my laptop, writing. Writing, not writing what should have been my response to the weeks discussion but the details of a recurring nightmare. If only it were just a nightmare, at least then there would be some hope of my waking up. Why didn't I stand up, and who the hell gave him that right?
