Random things that I have made…. June 2, 2015. I am getting quite the collection of art…. now I just need to hang it. I started hanging them the other day and this is what the East wall of my studio/sewing room. I have some things that I have created, a few pieces by Jodi Ohl, a small piece by Karen O’Brien, and a peice created by Brittany Gabel. Random things that I have made…. Ocracoke Island →. February 19, 2015. This may I am going to attend the ReMe retreat on Orcacoke Island in May. I have no idea what I am in for…but I know one of the instructors Jodi Ohl and she is a blast, so I think that the retreat will be quite fun. I am starting to get really excited. Random things that I have made…. August 19, 2015. Last night I went to my friend Nancy’s painting night at the bead shop. I didn’t have anything planned other than organizing my rolling art bag. Once that was finished, I started a page with a bear similar to the moose painting that I pained last month. I also took some pictures of other pages that are possibly finished. August 13, 2015. Random things that I have made…. ReMe Day 3 – Wind Chime. Hanging art →. June 2, 2015. Over the weekend I went to the latest Art Journaling club meeting at Scrappy Chic and had a grand time. I worked on several pages and started incorporating some asemic writing into the pages. I started with backgrounds that had been completed with a combination of Dylusions inks and Golden Acrylics. Once I was done and sure that they were dry, I did some writing with india ink and some irRESISTible inks.

Several years ago I went to Raleigh on business and all I can remember, is that it smelled like pine. This time I was on *Me* time and I had a blast. Random things that I have made…. ReMe Day 1 – Dirty Birds…. ReMe Day 3 – Wind Chime →. ReMe Day 2 – Assemblage…. May 15, 2015. Day 2 of ReMe Retreats was a group teaching effort. Jodi Ohi and Jean Skipper worked together to have us create an assemblage piece using wood paint and found items. I have seen a few examples of the assemblage pieces that keep bringing the tale of Baba Yaga to mind….so, I decided to make Baba Yaga’s house (the wings are just a flight of fancy).
