Saturday, January 17, 2015. All dressed up on Halloween! Our cute neighbor invited the girls to a Halloween lunch party (since the kids were out of school on Halloween this year). They got to make creepy pizzas and a bunch of cute crafts. Then it was party time at our house. We invited our friends over for Mac n' Cheese, snapped a few pictures, and then off to trick-or-treating. First stop was our neighbors and boy did they all get spoiled! Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Kate's First Day of 1st Grade. Kate's 1st day of 1st grade! We set her alarm for 7:45am but Jed went in at 7:40 to say goodbye before leaving. She was wide-eyed and told him she was just watching the clock because it wasn't time for her to get out of bed yet, and that she was really excited for school. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Boston - part 1. The long-anticiapted trip to Boston! We actually made a countdown paper chain and Kate didn't miss a day on tearing one off. We were all very excited to go to Boston to see our best friends. The first day we decided to go explore downtown Boston. It's an amazing city! Our first stop was the aquarium. How we miss these little girls already! We actually got to pet stingrays. All the girls were so nervous but they each touched one. Jed, Erin, Kate and Paige.

Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Thanksgiving at the Dunes. I'm a bit out of order, but wanted to post our fun Thanksgiving weekend. After eating a great meal on Thursday, we headed to Little Sahara on Friday and Saturday. The days were beautiful and mid-50's. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. I was sitting in church on Sunday when this thought popped into my mind "I am terrified to have a little girl". I immediately realized this is why I had such a hard time adjusting to the idea of it but I'm so happy and grateful for this little life! And I look at this and I'm not so scared. Then I think of all the stages in her life that I will be a part of. Will I give my daughter a haircut that makes her look like a boy? Will she choose good boys to date? She looks so young!
