Saturday, March 17, 2012. All Coming into Focus. Match Day has finally arrived and we now know where we are going! Donnie will spend 1 year in Fort Worth at JPS doing a transitional year (doing a variety of rotations including internal medicine, surgery, ER, etc). Afterwards, we will relocate to Austin where he will train at UT Southwestern for 3 years. We are excited to finally know our future and look forward to all the new experiences that await us! Sunday, March 28, 2010. The small winter garden didn't exactly thrive like I thought it would. The birds picked apart my spinach (although I did enjoy 4 tasty leaves), for whatever reason the broccoli never surfaced and I think I overwatered the carrots. It was a learning experience, but now we're ready for the good stuff- Spring gardening! I have three topsy turvy planters that I am so excited to use! I also planted some bell peppers (mixed colors seed packet), lots of squash and peas. Back in the day.

Thursday, June 28, 2012. A few weeks ago Donnie graduated from medical school! It was a day we eagerly anticipated for the last four years- the day he would officially become a Doctor! It was a pretty exciting day (wait. graduations aren't exciting. What was exciting- to finally celebrate everything he's been working towards. Some of Donnie's closest med school buddies.
