Chicken, Ostrich, Kudu, Zebra, and Crocodile served with some corn fritters and salad were the dishes we ate in pairs. After our morning chat session with the learners from pre-primary up through grade 7, our hair being petted and played with, and many questions about ourselves, we headed in for our morning devotion and staff meeting. A 7 week journey to experience Namibian Education. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Run, Steenkamp, RUN! Being that we were in the hot sun all day traveling around and cheering on Steenkamp, it gave us the opportunity to also chat with some of our staff from the school. It was great spending the day with them and just chatting about school and life. However, the sun definitely got to us, and despite reapplying sunscreen, we all left a little redder than when we had arrived. Me and some of my learners.
