Back in the '30s, when guitar amplifiers were born, they were built into suitcases so they could travel well from gig to gig. These days, guitar amps have grown up, but they still have suitcase handles, metal or plastic corner protectors and the ubiquitous Tolex covering has replaced the traditional tweed. In these modern times, however, a lot of amps never see the stage. They are used in practice rooms and studios and their steamer trunk influences are neither functional nor attractive.

The Model One is a tapered 1/4 wave transmission line design. This provides deep, resonant bass in a reasonble size. By tapering the 'pipe', the length can be reduced by as much as 20%. The wings (supports) provide a stable, three point base. As well as supporting the speaker, they baffle the low end and provide extended bass response. Loaded with a 200 watt EVM12L, this system provides the wide response and adequate power handling needed to reveal the true glory of any amp. Max Power = 200 watts.
