I grew up in Moorestown, New Jersey and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College (now University). I later earned a masters degree from George Washington University. I am retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, where I served twenty years, including tours in Vietnam and with the Multinational Peacekeeping Force in Beirut, Lebanon. When not writing, I spend my time working with homeless veterans, serving my church, and enjoying my ten grandkids. My wife, Mary Lou, and I live in Virginia Beach, VA.
